Catalan Eagle takes its name from the bird that soars above the nature reserve close to the winery.

Pepe Fuster makes wine from his 28 hectare vineyard in Terra Alta which is near Tarragona in southern Catalonia. The vineyard is organically certified and the Catalan Eagle red wine was fully certified from 2012 onwards.

Catalan Eagle red is the partner to the highly successful organic Catalan Eagle white. Full of youthful, berry fruits and savoury, minerally flavours from Garnacha and Cariñena are complemented by the smokiness of the Syrah.

Picked around the end of September the wine is then fermented in temperature controlled, stainless steel vats. Principally lime, stone and clay soil mix.
